Traces of A Day Lived

Wow. It's been a while. (I've been keeping a little more up to date over on my youtube channel, if you'd like to check that out) I don't even remember what my last blog post was about.

But THIS one's about photography!

I'm in my 4th year of university now (how did this happen), and this semester I'm taking a photography class. It's not quite all I had wished and hoped for, but it involves a lot of darkroom stuff, and the fact that it's such a basic class gives me the room to be creative and artistic.

Our most recent assignment was to shoot a "Day in the Life" style Photo story, which was actually a lot of fun. I love taking a lot of pictures chronicling what I do, but I think I get discouraged when I take the mindset of having to do it indefinitely, so having the set time frame of a single day was a nice limit, and it motivated me to get as much out of that time as possible.

I figured it would be rather nice to transpose that story from my presentation to a blog post. So here it is! I won't give too much description of the images, because my intention was to make the images speak for themselves as much as possible, as I believe good photographs should.
